The main products of star anise series (anise oil, anethole, natural anisaldehyde, shikimic acid, artemisia brain, pan-coated ketone, etc.) have formed an annual production scale of 100 tons of shikimic acid (shikimic acid is an important intermediate medicine raw material for the treatment of avian influenza H7N9), 600 tons of natural anisaldehyde, 200 tons of raspberry ketone. Shikimic acid production line was established in 2006. In 2006, the company was rated as the key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Qinzhou City, Guangxi. Since October, 2006 to December, 2009, we cooperated with Shanghai Pharmaceutical Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences to undertake the research on production technology of star anise extract (shikimic acid) supported by the 11th Five Year Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
